Elon wants the UK to fall next and I don't see the point in gaining qualifications if I'll end up being discriminated at work because of him. I already don't want to associate with men in real life because they could be Trump supporters. I'm not going to work in an environment that's toxic for women. I've been in survival mode since the election results so I can't focus on anything else and am checking out of this life. I don't want to see a man ever again.

Genuine curiosity from an older guy, not snark. What could Trump do that would make you go this guy is evil? I presume here you knew about the access hollywood tape, stormy Daniels and his role in the Jan 6 capitol attack when you cast your vote.
Edit: either unwittingly or deliberately the main question is being skipped. So here's my question really, say tomorrow there is a proof that Trump slept with minors (epstein connection or not) does this change anything for you that voted for him. This isn't a gotcha, I'm trying to understand your reasoning. He can empty shotguns into prams so long as I can afford groceries can be your stance. 2025-02-12 at 1:30 AM UTC"I'm reminded of a TV movie called The Wave, based on a book about a high school teacher who was teaching about Nazi Germany, and decided to get the class to emulate fascist ideals in order to understand the appeal of it, why people did it.
The general idea was how people sit, how they refer to each other, how they greet each other (even outside class) was important and special. Eventually, other students get into it, and it gets out of control; the teacher has an assembly to explain what was going on.
But in the TV movie, there was one student who wasn't very good, kind of lazy and unliked. And when he realized he was part of this special class, part of this group, part of the "in" crowd, he cleaned up. He dressed better. He was attentive in class. He would participate. As I recall, he was devastated (in the movie) when he found out that there was no national leader, no national movement. I don't know if there was a real character like this in the actual class or not.
But that appeal to the folks who felt they were the underdogs, the unwanted...that's very much part of what makes fascism work. If they can do their part, they are welcome. But you can ask Ernst Röhm how his career in Nazi Germany worked out." -

2025-02-12 at 1:38 AM UTCI've been interested in Nazi Germany since I was 14 but didn't study it formally until 2019/20, before the world went insane. Sometimes I wonder what my history tutor is thinking now. It seems appropriate that I studied this just before the madness.
