I am aware that there are other threads dedicated to shoplifting/stealing. The reason I am posting my own is because the other ones suck and they do not offer any information that will get you actual cash money in your pocket.
The best store for shoplifting is cabelas/bass pro shops. Why? Because they have high dollar merchandise on the floor and lax return policies.
Go to cabelas and go to the gun section, then find the section where they have the optic mounts. See the below image for reference. You can easily fit four of those into your pockets with no difficulty as a guy and the best part is that there is no security packaging on these. Yes you read that correctly. No spider wire or magnetic bullshit that you need to rip off. Just push a cart around the store and while you're doing your shopping slip the rings into your pocket.
Cabelas
One caveat to this method is that you cannot do the return the same day that you steal the rings. Either go to a different cabelas if you're paranoid or use a fake ID (cabelas accepts paper drivers licenses, just print one out) walk up to the customer service and tell them you want to return these items. They will ask you what is wrong with them and just say that they were a gift and they did not fit your weapon. They will ask to see your driver's license, hand them the paper ID (bonus points - get yourself a fake plastic DL from idgod) They will give you a gift card for the cash value of the stuff you're returning. Don't try to push this top much, keep it under $500 per transaction.
These magnets from Amazon will defeat any security packaging/spider wire. Just take the stuff into the changing room with you and you can unlock whatever you need to unlock and conceal on your person.
Then you sell the gift cards at a pawn shop, Facebook marketplace, offerup. Or give them to your drug dealer. Or go and buy yourself a new gun from cabelas with your gift card. You could get yourself a brand new glock ($500) from one single trip doing this.
