I'm pretty happy with Walmart+ grocery delivery

2025-02-01 at 4:01 PM UTCI'm always surprised by how much I get for the money. But I usually buy the Great Value brand. Any kind of 2L soda for $1, cereal for under $2 and I always get the French bread for $1. Even the meats are good.
I give a 5% tip but get that back with the 2% on my Citi card and 3% on that One Pay thing.
I was reluctant to use it because I ended up with a massive pile of paper bags (lib-fag state). They switched to free reusable bags but you'd have to give them away. Then some genius redesigned the paper bags. They made them 2/3rds the height and put handles on them. They fill them to the top. So there's 1/3rd less bag-mass to deal with.
$98/yr. You get other perks too. -

Im not too poor, i just feel like if someone wants more money than they agreed to get, they should work harder to earn the money rather than it be handed to them by strangers because of “empathy” or smth

Id assume the delivery drivers get paid enough, for the gas. Or they use company vehicle

They use their own cars.
I used to serve legal papers. I'll say one thing, it's a lot nicer than being stuck in a factory or office. Can't believe I never hit anything driving around with a map in my lap. This was before GPS. -

Target is better. they have good and gather brand (in store brand) which makes good stuff. and they deliver too. I just like to drive a couple of miles and pick mine up where for free they bring it to your car. Order on app, pay, takes 90 minutes on average and you come and they load it into the car. also the store has a coffee shop in it so they will bring out Danish or pastries and a latte for you when you order it on the way. they bring that bag of goodies to you.
I do this because Gav Newsome wants to end self checkout, and I am seriously grossed out by standing in line with people pushing up on you -
