Another lie. Thrust is created by the equal and opposite force of Object A on Object B. Newton said so, and I'll take his word over yours, dumbshit.

You're too stupid to even debate with, since you apparently believe two plus two equals three.

I don't understand, how can rockets work when they are in outer space?

You fail to grasp that mass is created when the rocket fuel combusts and creates expanding gases. Gas has mass. Mass = object b the rocket = object b. Your arguing for an object C dumbass.

Your trying to solve for 1+1+1 when the problem is 1+1 you idiot.

I've presented accepted, proven scientific principles and you hang on to your eighth grade misunderstanding of Newton.

You keep parroting about gases, while I'm talking about what the gases have to push against to achieve thrust. If there's nothing for the gases to push against, there's no thrust. Even a 10-year old should understand that, but not you, because you're stupid and can't even grasp basic principles.

They don't. The rocket fires, but the rocket remains stationary.
The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!

NPC retards are UNABLE to accept they've been lied to their entire life about major events and "facts" they never even once questioned. They will kick and scream and fight to the very end before they accept the fact they've been duped and that they were the idiot all along. It's an uncontrollable reflex, the way they lash out at, not at the people who lied to them, but at the people who dare to shatter their idiotic world view.

The gas doesn't have to push against anything other than the rocket ,

In the first law, an object will not change its motion unless a force acts on it. In the second law, the force on an object is equal to its mass times its acceleration. In the third law, when two objects interact, they apply forces to each other of equal magnitude and opposite direction.

Two objects, the rocket and the mass of expanding gases.

You're a hopeless idiot. The gas can push against the rocket all it wants, but it's the rocket that needs to accelerate by pushing against something other than itself. You're so stupid you actually think a rocket pushing against itself will propel itself, like lifting yourself into the air by your own bootstraps. Give it a break, retard.

The rocket doesn't push against anything in a vacuum or in the atmosphere. It gets pushed. Rockets work better in a vacuum than in an atmosphere. There is no friction or resistance from a third object.

That makes sense, but then how do rockets work in space?

Rockets work in a vacuum because their propulsion system relies solely on the principle of Newton's Third Law of Motion, which states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction; meaning that when a rocket expels hot gas from its engine, the force of that expelled gas pushes the rocket in the opposite direction, regardless of whether there is air present to push against, making it functional in the vacuum of space.

Key points to understand why rockets work in a vacuum:

    Self-contained combustion:
Unlike jet engines that require atmospheric oxygen, rockets carry their own oxidizer, allowing them to burn fuel and produce exhaust gases even in the absence of air.

    No resistance in vacuum:
In space, there is no air to resist the escaping exhaust gases, which means the rocket can expel them at high speeds, generating maximum thrust.

    Reaction force principle:

The thrust generated by the rocket is directly related to the momentum of the expelled gases, meaning the faster the exhaust is ejected, the greater the propulsive force on the rocket.

They don't. They've been lying the entire time, for over 70 years. Man has never even been in space.

You still didn't explain how a rocket can work out in outer space where it doesn't even have anything to push against to move forward.

Even a 10-year-old knows how a rocket works. The force coming out of the back of the rocket pushes against the air, and because the force of the rocket is stronger than the force of the air, the rocket is propelled forward. Without the air for the force coming out of the back of the rocket to push against, the rocket cannot propel itself forward.

Same thing in reverse: if a rocket is in the air, but there is no force coming out of the back of the rocket to push against the air, the rocket remains stationary.

It's such a simple concept, but the elite laugh at the people stupid enough to believe their lies that defy even such simple concepts. They can't even believe how stupid people are, that they deny a very simple concept just because some clown on the television told them they need to.

Man has never been in space using rocket-propelled technology; that is a simple concept which cannot be denied.
