   This will have a ripple effect globally. Women in Canada are also seeking sterilisation. I can't be the only Northern Irish woman who's started the process for obtaining it because of politics.

   Women in America have guns, if they didn't the number seeking sterilisation would be much higher. With a gun they have a chance of fighting off a rapist. British women will see what's happening in America, and know that if Reform wins the next election the same will happen here. We don't even have access to pepper spray so if American rape culture comes here masses of women will seek sterilisation. If that becomes unavailable, suicide is more likely. Women will exercise bodily autonomy one way or another, you should hope killing themselves isn't the only way they can do so.

    I calculated that it's one in six men that are rapists but that was relative to the population of women, and it hasn't been taken into account that not every woman is desired by a rapist, different age groups, so the number of men who are rapists is far higher.
