    well I wouldn't be paying taxes on the 10k but rather the 7,098.47. I just did a rough estimate based on the tax bracket I'm currently in.

    If the original 10 was mine and I purchased it at 8 cents and it's now 35 cent which would make my 10k be closer to 40k (8x4=36?) doesn't make sense with or without the original 10k invested.

    if my 10 became 17 it still wouldn't be taxing the first 10k because that's what I started with. No capital gain on the original 10k

    but now that I relook at this, your fucking near 18k still wouldn't be accurate. and if you told me No 18k plus 10k.. that still wouldn't be accurate.
