i don’t see why I should have an allegiance to people just because we happen to share the same race or nationality, the people I have an allegiance to are the people who I actually know and interact with in my life and who are important to me or people I’ve given my word to.

because your enemies do
your survival and success depend on population groups (the larger and more similar the better, traditionally racial or religious), and their success depends on strong integration, commonality and in-group preference
