   I'm mostly fine with windows.
   
   I think most of the important software from Linux I could in theory install on windows. It probably spies on you a little more, but I think I paid like $80 for my laptop so it's disposable.

   I recommend noobs make a Ventoy thumb drive (easy), d/l Mint, Zorin and Pop OS live ISOs to it and try each. They'll probably go with Zorin cuz it's not ugly.

   Been using Ubuntu since 2010. Tried Arch and Mint but preferred Ubuntu. I've toyed with Kali but didn't all of it. I tried Brunson Labs and didn't like.
