It's layered in esoteric humor I'm sure. that's how I find different forms of comedy by it.
The Father and Mother of Home Alone have parts in it with a scene of Edvard Munch "The Scream" like paper mache piece in which they talk of.. the boy from Home Alone mimics The Scream in the poster. this movie came out 4-5 years prior to Home Alone so there are different levels of esoteric. the money he has plays multiple parts.

weird but sounds interesting, I am saving it for saturday night to watch with my friend, her and I watched american werewolf in london the other night and liked it, so I'm sure she will be interested in watching this.
If you have any other movie suggestions let me know. That one that you mentioned, the dean koontz movie with the computerized/robot house was pretty good.
