Far cry 3 was one of my favorite games. I didn't see any political message in it. But in hindsight it did have this Roganesque/Aliester Crowley mix of drugs and summoning demons and shit. Very glowniggery.
This continued in Far Cry 4. Despite it being based on some Maoists somewhere that probably had Western support the story was good but I dreaded the drug/demon parts.
5 was just gay and had some kind of MK Ultra theme. Ig less demon summoning but still annoying drug shit where you got kidnapped.
I think they cut that out of 6 and it's about overthrowing Cuba 🙄 they never give up...but a lot of shit doesn't jive with reality but yeah the idea is overthrowing Cuba.
Ubisoft is French right? Same as American pretty much, but what is it with the CIA/Western intel agencies with the drugs and demons? It wasn't just Aliester Crowley, there was that CIA glownigger with the pointy eyebrows, church of Satan and so on.

I don't think I've really played a far cry game since 3 and all I really remember from that was getting rekt by a fat Mongolian guy in sandals with a helicopter door gun

I'm trying to remember what you're talking about with the Mongolian guy...but I thought Vaas was one of the best video game characters ever.
But now that I think about it, there was some guy actually in the CIA that looked like Crocket in Miami vice in 3. You meet him at some bar but I forgot his role or what he said. He was in 4 too.

I played the multiplayer co-op more than the main game though so maybe they don't show up as much there
I liked Farcry 2 better. I still think the plot for 3 was generic and the bad guy sucked HOOOO HURRRR DUH MEANING OF INSANITY IS DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER yeah like playing this crappy game
