    Has anybody done this? The instructions to do it look annoying and not worth the trouble.

    it's a bitch even if you have a wifi card that can be put into monitor mode. use WSL or dual boot with debian or kali. but yeah the wifi card is the main thing you need for this to work

    No not really anymore. But you used to be able to get on those Xfinity things by changing your Mac address to one that was already connected to it.

    It's not hard to install though? Like I remember trying to get some windows shit to work on Ubuntu and I think I tried using some program for it and still couldn't get it to work. And from the directions I read for this it was talking about something like that and building a library or some shit. I don't have time for all that.

    not really worth the effort unless you just want to deauth/dissasoc people

    cracking takes too much compute for wpa2 and it's much more difficult to set up patterns/passphrase templates in hashcat than it needs to be
