Lol, of course I have funds saved and investments in place...unlike you I'm not a socialist moocher and have taken care of myself since I was 16yrs old...I've never taken a cent from either UK or USA government...I've only ever contributed.
..and that's how it should be. I don't believe in socialism, social programs etc etc...you either contribute to society or you should be put to sleep...just like in the natural world, if you can't fend for yourself you die.

I was raised in a house with no hot water and no inside toilet till I was 11yrs old. My dad was a union shop steward/socialist who spent most of my childhood on strike so we were penniless for a long time.
At an early age I learned the corruption and ridiculousness of socialism first hand and swore I would never be in that "hand to mouth" position as an adult...my brother felt the same and he's now a self made multi millionaire...both of us rejected the crappy socialist system that gave us poor miserable childhoods.
The idea that I come across as privileged when I've earned everything myself (and in a foreign country) is laughable. -

You seem to make assumptions base on little to no knowledge of my past, present of future financial and social position.
As mentioned I had a poor miserable childhood and so have worked hard my whole life that I'll never be in that position again. If by some extraordinary turn of fate I lost everything then I'd be back where I started...which wouldn't involve begging for handouts from others.
...I have pride and self worth and would never ask others for financial help, either family, friends or government...I'd starve to death first.
