a month ago I was pretty depressed that I never invested in drones during my windfall of cash and crypto investing I could have easily bought a drone and started doing like a carrier pigeon type thing or aerial photography business, I was really kicking myself and that christmas light noose was looking cozy but then this drone thing happened and completely destroyed and ruined any chance or dream I would ever have making money from drones, along with everyone that ever invested into them so I feel better now

this is clearly just a psyops to prevent any kind of cool cyberpunk future drone hackers because the government is tricking you into thinking the chinese are flying above your house or aliens. Yeah right, FUD the market some more you fucking goons

dude, thanks to the fucking "UAP" drones of Jersey they're going to crack down on commercial licensing here in the USA no doubt.

its only a matter of time before someone like Hikki targets shits with a car size drone

dirtbags making potential and prosperity more difficult at least in the USA

    Canada is a different beast

The entire issue was that they can't legally shoot them down because the FAA deems drones to be the same as a commercial airline like a Cesna and it's illegal anywhere to shoot a plane down with a surface air missile even if they are doing low passes over your house and throwing beer cans on your roof

It sets a precedent but as an anarchist I posit that it should be legal to shoot down a Cesna AND a drone. The stiffling and hands tying of the research and development free market to develop anti drone arms will leave the gap to be filled by violent actors and government militaries instead of having a drone pellet gun turret on every roof because "It's dangerous"

It's more dangerous to just do nothing and sit on your hands while everyone else can develop high tech drones and nobody else can do anything because it's "illegal"
