Since I was trying to find new shoes this is something that I felt like commenting on.
Ig (mostly) black people celebrities??? will buy these because they're like $400 and they need something to spend money on besides marijuana in between Jordans. But the whole idea is that they're deliberately ugly af. It's supposed to be artistic or ironic or some shit idk.
I think I read this came from the "dad shoe" trend. Which some of the shoes classified as dad shoes I would wear, like retro running shoes, but not like those boomer Nike monarch shoes lol. I think that's how they're still around.
