   Either works, as long as you can spin it properly. If you want show your bravery you should become a beacon of hope to the women of the world. Ruling from the shadows would be playing into too many negative tropes about women - devious women pulling the strings from behind the curtains in palace intrigues. Alternatively you could take those tropes and own them, proclaim them a laudable display of true feminine power, and cast becoming a beacon as acquiescing to a fundamentally patriarchal conception of how power is meant to be wielded. 🤔
   
   In a world dominated by patriarchy, the former is probably the easier approach.
