They're simply manifestations created by the rebel aliens. There's all kinds of them. Genetically engineered by the rebel aliens and their mindless minions. You can't see the real aliens, as they are comprised of pure energy and completely cloaked to the human eye. Same with their ships. The ships you see are engineered by the rebel aliens' minions, but the ships the real aliens use are highly-advanced craft, made of pure energy, with some organic components, completely undetectable to the human eye.

The aliens have a technology where they can use a "particle-grabber" beam which can draw required elements straight out of the air itself and assemble those molecules into any form they wish. Then they can animate it using "particle-manipulators". All of it computer controlled. Many of the creatures people see today are created by the rebel aliens using this method. It's all just fun and entertainment for them to torture and toy with the humans, which they hate with a passion. These are attacks on your mind, to break you down, to win you over, to try to defeat the Creator's ultimate purpose for mankind.
