   He was warned months in advance that HTS was rearming and did nothing about it, he refused Iranian (and possibly Russian) support to defend, and yeah, even if Turkey did bribe most of his commanders it's on him to rectify it

   
   by the time he was warned a few months ago it was already too late as his commanders have all been bought, paid for and shipped, so by that time they probably told him that everything is fine and nothing to worry about, no thing to see here,
   
   or may have been outrightly refused to obey him behind his back.
   
   also theres nothing russians and iranians could do for syria if syrian army wouldnt fight to defend themselves, and any fight to liberate syria from these terrorists without syrian participation would tentamount to an "invasion".
   
   perhaps all this could have been avoided had assad the optometrist took oncology instead of optalmology.
