All you had to do was double click for an operator and ask them do dial the number for you. -

You just heat the glue on the receiver cap (top), unscrew it, pull out the receiver, then touch the two prongs on the back of the receiver to the metal part on the handset cradle. This short circuit activates the coin drop circuit, allowing for one free call. You can also make free long distance calls by dialing the operator, having her make the connection, and when she asks to deposit a certain amount of coins, simply touch the two prongs on the back of the receiver to the metal on the handset cradle the correct number of times that equals the number of coins requested. This will display a fake amount of coins deposited to the operator and the call will continue.
