$10,000 reward for assassin of health insurance giant CEO

From what I've read they are suggesting it's a disgruntled family member whose loved one was either ripped off or died from Untied Healthcare's shitty practices...not sure exactly how they come up with that conclusion other than a "maybe" thought.

If that does turn out to be the case and the guy was seeking revenge for the death of a family member etc...I can't say I'd blame him.

yeah I didn't really look too deeply into it, assumed he was wearing a face mask from the video and didn't see his face in the articles

It's one of those furry scarves deliveroo riders wear in the winter to keep their face warm. He did a good job fitting in as a cyclist, he would pass as just another low paid courier dodging traffic delivering packages and food to the wealthy in their skyscrapers. No one even notices them on the street, they're the most easy to overlook thing in any city. You see dozens of them every time you take a walk. As a disguise it's the closest thing to an invisibility cloak you are going to find.

According to CBS News, police believe the murder weapon is a B&T Station SIX-9, which comes equipped with a sound-suppressor and retails for around $2,100. Note carefully how B&T describes its latest version:

This updated, integrally suppressed pistol features a new grip and updated magazines, yet maintains its non-descript appearance, whisper-quiet sound signature and unique rotating bolt operation. This model in 9mm wears a 3-in. barrel. It finds its operational success as a magazine-fed, non-auto-ejecting single-shot functioning in a rotational bolt action. It is beautifully enhanced by wipe suppressor, and a baffled suppressor is an available option for those who prefer that design.

Professional fixer like the guy in watchdogs or assassins creed.

Cool. Probably going to live like a sultan after this. Maybe even the count of Monte Cristo.

The pay might explain the grin. One good thing about letting shit tons of illegal immigrants in. Undocumented, potentially untraceable.

The guy is probably chilling in the middle east in a country unfriendly to the US, living the life, retired.

I don't know anything about this story but he was probably using subsonic .22LR. The suppressor makes it harder to cycle, especially in the cold, would have thickened any lubricant oil on the slide.

Either he didn't test the setup beforehand in the conditions it would be used, or he knew he'd have to cycle it manually and just practised. He prioritised the reduced sound signature despite the potential for malfunction.

Apparently the assassin used a pistol made for veterinary purposes. It is manually cycling, and designed to be quiet so as not to scare nearby animals.

Remember to tip when you pay your insurance premium.

Failure to leave a tip may lead to claim denial.

If you only tip 5% you may get kicked out of the hospital in favour of the guy who tipped 20%.
