I am listening to this now and it seems like really shitty advice. Complimenting people? Especially bitches just makes you look like a simp. Maybe guys more to get them to do what I want, but it's hard to think of any way to compliment them. Maybe on their possessions.
Idk though, maybe this shit worked in the 40's or whenever it was written but who tf was Dale Carnegie anyway? And why should I be taking advice from him?

It's not a pick up manual. Back in Dale's day you didn't need to neg women or avoid becoming a beta-orbiter or pay-pig. You just went to her father and announced you intended to court.
The advice for dealing with people really works though, and you can see them used all the time if you pay attention, for instance good salesmen will keep using your name, over and over, even to the point of excess, will make you feel important, and will listen attentively to you as if you are the most interesting person in the whole world.
My old boss back in the 80s recommended this book to me because he thought I was too harsh on the underlings...I told him I'm here to get the job done not make friends.

so you're there to influence people into acting in a productive manner that satisfies the goals of the organization?
If only the book was about more than winning friends.

Like John, I guarantee you if I hung out with you at work for 2 hours a day (the time you actually spend working) I ccould learn a lot about managing the factory because you are smart and experienced in that field.

Or if I wanted to learn how to suck a dick, I imagine you could teach me a lot due to your decades spent with cocks in your mouth
Learning to suck a dick isn't the same as having "natural abilities"...if you learn from a book it's not natural (not that sucking a dick is ever natural for a male).

Are you saying the book is useful or was this directed at jigaboo?
I'll concede reading others opinions is harmless enough...the problem is when you use it as a "roadmap" of the way forward. Sure there is always "more to learn" but blindly following this stuff and expecting it to change your life is recockulous.
You don't need to read a book to employ positive changes which are 99.99% common sense anyway.
The problem is when people who are not 'naturals' pick up this crap which most definitely is marketed and directed to the weaker minded and weaker willed folk and then try to employ it near word for word.
Again you either are a natural leader and/or charismatic or you're not...it's not something you can "learn" from a book.

there are hundred+ (non-gay) reasons/motivations that induces men to do it.
