I mean, I am sorry, but, there is nothing that happens on Telegram channels that doesn't and hasn't been happening here on the open forums for years. We all know this community is very direct, very vulgar, intentionally offensive, and generally aggressive. Do you think that would change or somehow be different because the format changed from message board to instant chat room style communication?
We're still the same community across whatever form you wish to consume it in. If you're easily offended, probably shouldn't be a member here. If you're extremely easily offended, probably shouldn't join the more direct-to-user forms we have such as Telegram, Matrix, etc. That just means more instantaneous insulting without giving you time to stew on it for awhile before you carefully formulate a witty response.
It's more rapid action oppression.

The problem with TG and instant chats in general especially in communities like this is they instantly turn into a crabs in a bucket type hellscape. Most of you fuckers arenβt emotionally developed past high school and the ones who are get drunk every night and nobody on this website is a fun drunk.
Furthermore, if you can believe it or not, having 27 of your closest internet friends in your pocket and available 24/7 might not be a good thing, and it certainly doesnβt encourage putting thought and effort into your posts or communications.
Both of those things encourage this stupid mentality where like SB said, youβre either in the cool kids club or youβre not, and everyone is talking behind each otherβs backs and sharing what they had for dinner and then all their friends say βomg that looks so good!!!11!!!β
Why canβt we just use the website for its intended purpose? I imagine this has been an issue since the days of tinychat.
Just use the forum to communicate with each other otherwise lanny is paying for it for nothing and giving money to those Nigerian children for NOTHING AND ITS YOUR FAULT!!!!!!!!!
