   It's an extremely powerful and useful emotion and concept but most people are selfish and narcissistic so they rarely take advantage of it.
   
   Love becomes impossible to believe in or feel after a while for a lot of people. But it's evolutionarily too advantageous to be entirely phased out. Even psychopaths and autistics can learn how to feel it with practice.
   
   The most advanced people and societies are highly charged emotionally and tend to believe in love and compassion.
