Number 1 is your favorite.
1: Deus Ex (2000)
2: Half Life 2
3: Red Dead Redemption 2
4: Assassin's Creed Black Flag
5: Halo 4 (Multiplayer was great, it was like if COD and Halo had a baby).

I think the first dead rising is the best game ever made by Capcom of Japan. The shift of production to western teams was very noticeable. The remake is also cool but I think the OG version stands on it's own quite well

it's fucked. i own a bajillion games. i've played a ton of them. and... i have a hard time answering this. not because i have so many choices, but because it kinda feels like i don't even like games anymore. they're fun! don't get me wrong. i have fun, but i don't know that i really care anymore. y'know? especially picking a favorite game... like... huh. it feels weird. like i've lost a part of myself.
1. Diablo 2 (maybe?)
2. Mass Effect (the first one, and only the first one)
3. Jade Empire (maybe?)
4. Grim Dawn (maybe?)
5. Kenshi (maybe?)
i could put kenshi at the top of the list. i really do like it a lot. it's unique. very distinct experience. but also... idk, i haven't put thaaat much time into it. grim dawn? like. eh. it's fun. best arpg since diablo 2 probably, and easily my favorite since diablo 2. and like... i mean, diablo 2! it's an all time great game and i put a lot of hours into it in my youth, but if i died without ever playing it again i think i'd still die happy. i'm not in a rush to play any of these again, tbh. i've beaten mass effect a few times, that's gotta count for something. jade empire is just kung fu mass effect, and it only made the list because i'm eternally salty that bioware forgot they invented a fantastic new ip 20 years ago and has just slept on it ever since.
also like if i'm going with diablo 2 because of all the time i played it when i was younger, then surely by the same token halo and halo 2 belong at the top of the list. the games i played when i still really cared. eh. halo 1-3 deserve a spot on the list for their OSTs alone.
fuck

Yee, I considered putting DS1 on my list in place is sekiro. I think sekiro is truly the better game, but DS1 was my intro to the genre and of course defined it. If it was like “most influential games” I would have gone a different way but for faves my soulslike choice has to be the weeb one.

My morrowind pick definitely falls in that category. KF maybe too. I’d
love to play KF like it was in 2013 again but I never will, it was an MP only game that existed at a point in time and can never be revisited in the same way, and I’ll never be the drunk shit with good reaction times I was again either. The other three I still have designs on. Cracktorio in particular is such an… expressive game, I have a lot left I want to do despite ostensibly experiencing everything the game is already

[the staring tame crusher]
Very hard to pick a number one but its going to be a shooter so it could either be doom, unreal tournament, goldeneye but I'll go with half life for number one if we are allowed to include the expansion sequels
1. Half life (opposing force and blueshift) the amount of hours I put it into this a kid is unreal)
2. Goldeneye ( just for the multiplayer really, 4 friends my Canadian friends basement. Being 10 years old and not really understanding what to do but just enjoying having fun with friends)
3. Mortal Kombat (1, 2 or mk 3)
Another one those early gaming memories, spent a whole summer memorising the combos Fatalitites)
4. Carmageddon
Loved just messing around with the psychics and destroying all cars
5. Fallout 3
Loved the story and fucking about with the psychics. Not much for rpgs but it reminded me of playing lands of lore in the 90s when I first played it and travelling back and forth and picking up shit and all the mechanics was just refreshing when I first got to play it on the 360....still holds up today.

Oh man, death stranding was so good. Peak Kojima weird. Shit, might have to bump something off my list for that but I don’t know what.
Dstranding 2 coming out in the relatively near future, I’m hyped
