    I could probably put it up for auction. not sure I would get 2400 bucks for it. I think most auction houses take 1/3rd or half the profits anyways. so 1200 bucks for a penny isn't half bad

    good question. I just got it at a store and saw the OneCents on the back knowing it was older and looked at it, looked it up. there seems to be the outline of a Denver press with the S over it

    they probably ran low and Denver sent them blanks with some already pressed on the front side to be restamped.

    it is what it is. Could be someone etched it in. what happened on that pawn stars episode
