    I used an eSIM I bought off Airalo and it wouldn't let me talk to people it was effectively a banned number

    hmm idk then. maybe you had a european/asia esim, trying to connect to a NA tower, and since they are different protcols, NA has to reach out to the europe/asia to verify and allow useage? or were on wifi and geo ip location isnt matching up

    As far as I know it was an American esim while in America but idk how they route it exactly. I think the tele help bot basically said I'm a "suspicious number" and could get around it by registering for premium so just a cash grab I guess
