People I listen to on a variety of things do this but I think it's slightly annoying. Right... It sounds condescending, like a preschool teacher or something.
Just say uh.
When tf did everybody start doing this? At least on internet videos?

I’m for the right pause phenomenon. In actual dialog it’s a pattern that allows for interjection, like it’s an opportunity for an interlocutor to say “no, not right” or “I don’t follow, explain” which is good. If you’re talking with intent of being understood or convincing someone you should be checking in with their understanding of what you’re saying periodically and that’s exactly what “right?” does.

What annoys me is British people saying "Brilliant".
I wasn't even aware of it's overuse when I lived there and it wasn't until someone asked me here "Why do you brits say brilliant all the time" ...that I started noticing it.
Now I cringe every time I hear some rando brit say "oh that's brilliant"...my mom before she went into dementia/vegetative mode said it a lot and I told her to stop.
