most are a minimum of 6 week stints and usually last longer because they need the funding and use their "patients" to keep them in like Kamala Harris did with black inmates to fund their fiscal year failures. they need to bend those expenditure curves a bit more.

the only time I was in a psych ward I went in with 1 shoe, 1 sock, a ripped shirt and dirty pants and I was fucked up on a lot of drugs. They didn't give me jack shit or tell me where to get anything. I just sat around in rags like some haggard freak.

not true. i have been in dozens of psychiatric hospitals some as short as 4 days and the longest which wa 6 weeks. -
