2024-10-22 at 5:05 PM UTCLadybugs are strange I found one lone ladybug in a bag in my kitchen once in the middle of winter. I have no idea where it came from or where it went
Maybe they can teleport but that doesn't explain seeing them multiple times in the same place -
2024-10-22 at 5:10 PM UTCThe are actually from the same realm as benadryl spiders but instead of a trip to bring them out, they can crawl out of your soul when you fall asleep with gay thoughts.

2024-10-22 at 6:50 PM UTCThat is not a Ladybug, it's an Asian Lady Beetle. The Asian lady beetle is native to Asia, but was introduced to the United States by the USDA as a biological control agent for aphids and scale insects. They can become a nuisance in the fall and winter when they gather in large numbers around homes and buildings.

I'm not sure where they are coming from either. My window is properly caulked and shuts just fine.
why in gods name would you want to? they're a blessing. a sign of Good luck you stupid fat fro-headed fuck.
they probably sense you have aphids or some other parasitic insects in that nest you call your bedroom. nice ceiling panels. looks like a college lab classroom. -

2024-10-24 at 12:46 AM UTCdont they call them lady birds in the UK?
the ones in wisconsin im told hurt when they land on your arm because they scratch the arm and then sometimes leak out a yellow defensive chemical like piss. it burns the fuck out of people. people think they're being stung but its just sharp legs
the ones in California don't do that. they're more gentle because they're not as aggressive in October when they die off (which is why you're seeing them.. they're breeding for 2 weeks straight before dying)
its probably because its not as cold in October here as it is in Wisconsin or the upper midwest. they are more aggressive for survival and probably developed sharper legs to chase people off. -

Meet The Ladybug Look Alike: The Asian Lady Beetle
If its Orange with white spots on its head its an Asian Lady Beetle
If its Dark Red it's a "Ladybug"
Are ladybugs and Asian beetles the same? No! Ladybugs and invasive Asian lady beetles may be part of the same insect family (coccinellidae), but they are very different bugs. When you get to know them, you’ll see that ladybugs and Asian lady beetles not only look different, but they also behave differently.
Are Ladybugs Harmful to Humans?
Ladybugs are considered highly beneficial, harmless insects. They don’t sting. And though they do rarely bite, it feels like a light pinch.
In fact, ladybugs are considered a helpful insect. They consume several harmful garden pests such as aphids, and can be a benefit to your garden. You won’t catch them congregating in large numbers, and they prefer to seek shelter outdoors when it gets cold. Ladybugs like to shelter in logs, under rocks, and under piles of leaves.
Are Asian Lady Beetles Harmful to Humans?
An Asian lady beetle is no match for humans, but they are an incredible nuisance. Asian lady beetles “bite” by scraping the skin they land on. And when they feel threatened, they may excrete a foul-smelling, yellow liquid from their leg joints. This excretion is called “reflex bleeding” and can also happen when they are crushed. Reflex bleeding isn’t dangerous or poisonous, but it can trigger minor allergic reactions. They can also stain walls or fabrics, damaging your property. -

I saw it and its not the only insect being discus in the conversation and the fact that the fucking Lady Beetle is an insect that morphed because it doesn't look the same in its original country that it does in this host country of ours. its mimicry of the indigenous North American "Ladybug".
