Neither side will have a LASTING cease fire due to all engaged parties conflicting interests and lack of willingness to bargain.

The Palestinians have repeatedly made peace, and being lazy arabs, actually stood by it. In each case the jedis exploited the peace to slowly expand their ethnostate, with constant low level violence like seizing individual houses. Then when Palestinians got pissed off enough to react, they quickly exploited the ensuing war to rapidly increase their ethnostate, with mass seizures of land.
This is not what a two state solution looks like.

Israel would be stupid to accept a ceasefire. Best thing they can do is eliminate their enemies. It's always the weaker state requesting a ceasefire.

Why do 146 out of 193 UN member states recognise Palestine as a sovereign state?
Why did the jedis and the "Americans" recognise Palestine as a state during the Oslo Peace accords?

"the native Arabs don't have claim to the land because the British carved up the existing states in the early 20th century"

ISO 3166-1 beta-2 Code: PS – This is the two-letter country code used for Palestine in international data standards.
Currency Code (ISO 4217):
The Palestinian pound no longer circulates, but in technical and historical contexts, the ISO currency code for the Palestinian pound was PLP. Today, Palestinians use the Israeli shekel (ILS) and Jordanian dinar (JOD), but a hypothetical Palestinian currency could be assigned a code.
PLE is the code used by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for Palestinian athletes. The Palestine Olympic Committee has been recognized since 1995, allowing Palestine to participate in the Olympics under its own flag 🇵🇸
The SWIFT financial messaging system has designated codes for banks operating in Palestinian territories, allowing international banking and transactions.
The Palestinian Football Association is a recognized member of FIFA (since 1998), and the country uses the abbreviation PLE for international football matches.
