   It's actually quite nice. I expected a dystopian hellscape like San Francisco, where I lived for several years before it got REAL bad.
   
   Streets are cleanish. Haven't smelled much piss or feces in the streets. Don't have more than a couple homeless crackheads shouting incoherently at passersby. Weather's not bad rn.
   
   Last night I walked all around old town and Ville-Marie til like 3am and nothing happened. In the Tenderloin I would have been mugged at least twice.
