   they typically use 8-panels for most things like employment, parole etc. which does not show up on. there's been some argument as to whether will show up as an opioid but you'd need to be doing massive doses for that
   
   there is a specific test they can order but they don't generally blow the money on anything past the 8-panel unless they have a good reason to because it's expensive
   
   according to this (https://requestatest.com/dextromethorphan-bundy-cough-syrup-urine-drug-test) one of those tests will pick up a 'recreational' dose 1-2 days after use.
   
   it won't show on a normal test but I'd not do it for a few days before testing just to be sure

    Drug tests don’t test for the drugs in your urine the test for metabolites created by drugs. bundy can create a false positive for pcp. Don’t do it if you have a drug test coming up.
