Soon, you will not be able to verify anything. Your entire existence will be based merely upon assumption.

Soon, your brain will be programmed for remote control in such a way that only permissible thoughts will be allowed.

Stand a few yards away from a guy at an ATM and "pick" his PIN and card number directly from his brain and eyes.

Respair!
"Yes, it's possible that you'll be able to recall the content of a book you've read now, even if you have trouble remembering it due to brain fog, once your cognitive function improves in the future. Here’s why:
1. **Memory encoding and storage**: When you read a book, the information gets encoded and stored in your brain, even if it's difficult to recall at the moment. Brain fog from long COVID can interfere with your ability to **retrieve** these memories, but the information may still be stored in your brain.
2. **Future memory recall**: As your brain fog improves, your memory retrieval system could become more efficient, allowing you to access the memories that were stored but difficult to recall earlier. This means you might start remembering the content of the book later, without needing to reread it.
3. **Cues for memory recall**: Sometimes, even brief exposure to something related to the book—like a character’s name or a specific scene—can trigger the memory and help you recall much more than you originally could. Your brain might reconnect the dots when conditions improve.
That said, everyone's cognitive recovery process can be different, so while it's possible, how much you'll recall without rereading the book may depend on factors like the severity of the brain fog and your individual brain recovery."

I just wondered what time it is but thought it Irish. I used to do that compulsively but haven't for years. I wonder why it's popped into my head now.

Dream is coming back to me now but it's the same place I've dreamt of before. The hotel lobby/cafe with the red painted floor. A station and a beach nearby, an office, a crowd. The place has a map

Wondering why furry dildos aren't a thing and what it would feel like. Is it just because they'd be hard to clean and need a lot of lube or are there health risks?

All of the above probably. I think the hair (this is disgusting btw) would reduce friction, rip off, get stuck, cause infections...
I'll leave this one here, though.
