Despite this extreme metric, American women are increasingly giving up on trying to lose weight:

Women have become significantly less likely to say they are working on weight loss in the past year, falling from 29% in 2019 to 23% this year – their all-time low. The latest decline is also a departure from the average 30% of women who were trying to lose weight during the 2010s. Meanwhile, the current 23% of men attempting weight loss has essentially stayed steady, registering 21% last year and an average 22% in the past decade.

American women have substantially greater bodymass than even Neanderthal males. The average American woman is 1 inch shorter, and nearly 30 pounds heavier, than a Neanderthal male.

The average Neanderthal was short and stocky, with males averaging 5 ft 5 in (164 cm) and weighing 143 lbs (65 kg), and females averaging 5 ft 1 in (155 cm) and weighing 119 lbs (54 kg).

Women in America often complain about "unrealistic" beauty standards, but in reality the standard they have set is not only unhealthy and costly, it is inhuman.

You can thank the "Stop Fat Shaming" groups. it should be shamed for health reasons over physical beauty. but even for health they tell women just stay active.
But if they were active in the amount they need to be a normal weight for health issues it would have to be a fuckload of activity all day long and less fatty foods and more high protein to stay active and healthy.
It's a failed catch-22 that the new norms have created and placing overweight people in commercials. which seems good at first but in reality it is bad. people watch TV to see beauty and to be encouraged for better change. its an escape from their shitty lives most people live

otherwise they would watch Horror films and be like "Hey, At least thats not me in the barn getting hacked to death"

Exactly. This is infuriating. Everything in our country is falling apart and there is always an influential movement of idiots to make things even worse.

Ya I think some thiccness is attractive but there seems to be a desire to label obesity as thicc and say that grossly overweight people are somehow attractive in any capacity to anyone.

Well, the elite/US military are replacing everyone with hispanics, and they have a tendency to become overweight easily.

    Nothing surprising
