no, they just changed it recently.
before this users were allowed to read, write and edit the past webpages and internet histories.
i just posted Dell and Nigger Centuria as benny vader last year and saved it to 2008. -

Not really, actually a lot of the loss people were experiencing was pretty legit but I think this was a real wake up call that shows people nothing lasts forever and don't expect just because you donate $20 a month to a server preservation project doesn't mean some autistic Russian can't delete it all Joker style -
2024-10-15 at 5:34 PM UTCIn just a few years, all history will be erased from the entire planet. At least, that's what the globalists want.

There's little to nothing on the archive that can't be found elsewhere... -

The post in my OP that I made a while back I made the argument that destroying most data is a good thing. I don't see how this aligns with state international globalist orders at all when going to the lengths I propose is illegal everywhere in the world.
Breaking into technology servers and deleting everything is very illegal. Now think about why? Who does this benefit?
If you are against destruction of data than you support laws and corporations and states that protect them which makes YOU the globalist!

media is not timeless but technology is and new media can be created from what is around. I would rather save as much potential as possible than see any shadow of the former world.
I would even seek out and destroy all film and television and make a computer virus that deletes it and put a copy on every CD-ROM with free operating systems I give out for free in my trade so it spreads far and wide, hopefully.
All classical works and cultural arts are useless to preserve except for historical purposes.
FREEDUMB of information means the freedom to DESTROY it as well. When (((they))) don't allow you to destroy it, YOU AREN'T FREE!!! -

I'm the source, I've had to use it maybe twice and then it was for some obscure old computer drivers that I could have lived without. Otherwise I find everything I need via torrents, tosec libraries etc etc.
If you're downloading books and games off the internet archive (which is the primary complaint the copyright folks have) you need your grandpa learning how to us a mouse certificate -

They want to destroy history so no one can compare their lies with the truth. It's that simple. -

I think (((they))) value controlling the narrative more than trying to get rid of it. I think (((they))) are too obsessed with control and can never give up their clutch on information which is why destroying what they value is a good outcome.
They are perfectly fine with hate speech being erased but not other types of information like nuclear secrets -

I've emailed authors and developers of obsolete hardware and software multiple times and 9/10 it results in success.
I just got an very obscure video board replacement for an MSX computer that I've had dead for 3 or 4 years....the project hasn't had any activity on it for years and was apparently abandoned at early development stage due to lack of interest...the result was the guy sold me his prototype board (the only one he had left) and it worked perfectly...that also involved him shipping it from Russia which at first was rejected by customs.
Your plugins I'm sure as sitting in multiple places other than the internet archive...step 1 is contact the author...step 2 is use relevant forums to request it...step 0.5 is save the downloaded files of any plugins you use int he first place! I have a driver database that I've built over DECADES for this very reason.
Step 4...grow a brain grandpa and learn how to double click/search. -
2024-10-15 at 7:43 PM UTCI like the software archive because everything is in one place and easily searched. It's centralized.

2024-10-15 at 8:52 PM UTCI'm amazed at how many ISOs they have there. They have pretty well every single game there in ISO format, going all the way back to the start of the Internet, usually with the CD key included. An astonishing collection.

Yeah that's bullshit really, you can't have that and claim "it's all above board guvn'r...all in the interests of preservation, honest!"
I myself am preserving full rom sets of many systems too...and lets not forget all the Audible audio books I've procured from various sources and listen to on my commute to ensure they are good copies...all in the interests of preservation...
