I'm sorry to hear about your experience. That's pretty much how I expect it will go. It makes me feel better that i'm not the only one who isn't socialized enough to join a church

I really think learning catechesis yourself is the best way. It will take longer and you still have to get confirmed and baptized. I'm sure there is a priest that would be honored to minister to the TOTSE community and help further our mass conversion event taking place on this very forum inspired by cabbage rolls and the holy ghost

While the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the most common process for adults to become Catholic, it is not an absolute requirement. The goal of RCIA is to provide a structured way for people to learn about Catholic faith and be fully initiated through Baptism (if needed), Confirmation, and Eucharist. However, it is possible to become Catholic without going through RCIA, under certain conditions:

Private Instruction: Instead of RCIA, a priest may agree to offer one-on-one catechesis or study, especially if the person has already been studying Catholic doctrine on their own. This may happen if someone has significant religious knowledge or unique circumstances that make RCIA unnecessary.

Baptism: If you're not already baptized, you will still need to be baptized, which can be done outside of RCIA, but typically under the guidance of a priest or deacon. If you're already baptized in another Christian tradition, the Catholic Church may recognize that baptism as valid.

Confirmation: To be confirmed, you generally still need to receive instruction, whether through RCIA or private catechesis. Confirmation is usually done by the bishop or a priest delegated by the bishop. The specific process depends on your diocese and the priest working with you, but Confirmation cannot be skipped.

In short, RCIA is the usual path for adults, but if you are learning on your own or in a private setting, you can still become Catholic without it, as long as you're properly catechized and receive the sacraments (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist). It's best to talk to a local parish priest to discuss your situation and what path would be appropriate for you.

Everybody pray for fonaplats conversion! what he has done so far has taken a lot of courage and is truly and inspiration

Well it sure seems like a sign to me. My luck usually isn't that bad or embarrassing.

All I want is a place to go where I can sit in the back while someone at a podium tells me a story and then I leave.
    No gay singing.
No gay flopping around on the floor like someone at the last piece of fried chicken.
And no trying to drown my ass in a shitty bathtub.

You should really check out a TLM (Traditional Latin Mass) There are no women singing. only chanting in Latin and burning incense.
    https://www.daytonlatinmass.org/
    https://fssp.com/apostolate/fssp-dayton/
    https://www.latinmassdir.org/venue/holy-family-church-dayton-united-states/
You can also chant at a home altar and pretend you live in England during the christian wars when the catlicks had to hide underground but you will need to get baptized and confirmed at some point.

Also there is no flopping in real churches

Which is why babies should be baptized so that if they decide to become catholic one day they don't have to go through a bunch of paperwork. It costs nothing to baptize a child and only gives them more options in life so any parent that doesn't do it is limiting the options for their childs future

Baptists want to do nothing except dunk you in a bathtub and they don't even believe there is any secret magic involved they just believe it's a ritual like shaking hands with God. Absolute skitzos

If the Bergoglian Vatican II Ape Church becomes too much (although there's really no excuse if you have a TLM in your area) there's always Easter Orthodoxy, The "Real" Catholic Church

Around 2015/16 when Trump was running for office, the Pope of Rome went to the southern border to pray against there being a wall put up. It was then that the far right 4chan community (in a post modern jest) decided that 4chan was no longer a Catholic forum, but and Eastern Orthodox forum.

Although I think Eastern Orthodoxy has just as many problems as Baptists.

Or you could join the All American Religion and follow the real profit Joseph Smith THE HOLY LAND IS IN UTAH!!!!

Think about it fuys why would God reveal the secrets to anyone besides an American?
