That's the scary part about the whole idea of "Heaven" right there. Because there would come a point where you'd think to yourself "Fuck this is starting to go on a bit too long now, and its like i've not even started, I still got forever to go". and once you have a thought like that it will cause you to have thoughts like that again. It might be as much as the 200 millionth trillionth time you think it that your mind will collapse and you'd go truly insane.

I was well schooled on the 144,000 theology and believed it was true as it's literally written in the bible and i'm pretty sure even if you go back to the greek and hebrew texts it will say essentially the same thing. Also Mormons kinda believe the same thing. Once they reach Heaven (which is basically another dimension hidden from us), they won't be male or female. They'll be a "new creation", an upgrade, if you will. Same people, but a different kind of existence and form.
But that won't be you, it will a recreation, otherwise known as a copy of you. So that would mean no afterlife for you, you just worked your whole life to give someone else a leg up. Which would still mean you're being lied to.

I don't think the number is representative. If human population reaches 10 billion people and there are state approved bone crushes for wrongthink than probably only 144,000 humans will be holy enough to be saved at that time while the rest should be destroyed forever.
