You think that Hez and Houthis could launch a joint attack with BURKANs in order to run the iron dome out? BURKANs are like 400$/missile.

Whatever is left could be reasonably run out with a million or 2 dollars of missiles, max, I think.

Of course, Israel might decide to let them through and see through the bluff. But if you fire 500 Burkans at tel aviv and haifa metropolis', and Israel lets them through...

I dunno about BURKANs specifically but I think that's been the goal with the rocket artillery since the beginning - even before the Lebanon offensive and the Iranian missiles they were forced to reduce the coverage areas so it makes sense that their IRON DOME(head) stocks are running low

Regarding the Nevatim base strikes, it seems whatever happened there is very embarrassing for israel.

First they compelled 'friendly' nations and private companies to update their current satellite photos of the Nevatim and Tel Nof bases with digital clouds rendered over them:

then AP released a photo of Nevatim showing 'minor damage':

however that is only a small, relatively disused part of the base for transport aircraft and equipment storage; the munitions and fighter jets (likely the primary target) are kept in the north/western part of the base:

the rumours of F35s destroyed on the ground might actually be true.

Digital clouds don't surprise me. Israel should have paid for that to be done that over the entire country long ago.

Just makes it harder for us to tell what's going on.

Israel might also be using this as a bluff in the case that they did intercept many missiles, and the base will be used in the near future.

Time will tell how these strikes affect their aerial capabilities. I think Israel is at ~8k airstrikes on Hez in Lebanon in the past yearish, while Hez has fired ~11k missiles at northern Israel.
