2017-06-21 at 2:56 PM UTCnormies get so fucking butthurt whenever someone mentions bitcoin
i remember reading some article written by some faggot who was obviously just hella angry at btc who was like I STILL HAVE YET TO HEAR OF ONE LEGITIMATE USE FOR BITCOIN OTHER THAN AS A BLACK MARKET CURRENCY. how the fuck does that detract from its value as a currency? if anything it gives it power. we know the black market isnt going away any time soon and this faggot is just hella butthurt that people are doing drugs and having fun without him -
2017-06-21 at 4:49 PM UTCI'm holding, I don't give a fuck what the market does. It might be a good time to trade for some ETH since it's down to like 315 but I'm not sure if it's going to come back. I don't trust ETH.

It makes its value contentious. The value of bitcoin is contingent on your ability to turn it into currencies you can buy non-black-market goods with, no one is going to run a high risk business selling drugs if the only thing they can spend their profits on are more durgs. National governments can exert control over currency exchanges, can regulate the exchange of bitcoin. And this seems much more likely if the only thing you can do with bitcoin in clandestine activities. -

That would take too long, but you can have voluntary organizations that would be fucking ruined if they were found to be corrupt, as their profitability depends on high reputation. There's also the legal system, which is strongly involved in incentives.
There are too many critical aspects of business, economics, and societal institutions involved to provide an adequate explanation and address the standard concerns and counter-arguments in a reasonable period of time. -
2017-06-22 at 11:30 PM UTCI've bought about 60k worth the past two years but never to hold onto. Once it was bought it was spend within the hour.

Lol.
L:"communism is the supreme economic system"
M:"but lanny, what about all the cases of failed communist states?"
L:"you don't understand communism"
M:"would you explain communism then?"
L:"nope, not enough time.
Either explain how an anarcho capitalist model predicts higher quality/lower prices of products produced within the jurisdiction of a state that levies taxes and enforces contract law or leave. Don't pussy out with some weak shit like "2complicated4u" -
2017-06-23 at 11:13 PM UTCI never made the argument that failed "communist" states were proof of the failure of Marxism or your preferred economic/societal system. As if I would ever make such a flawed low level argument. Although, "true" socialism and communism don't exist because Marx never fully detailed how such a system would work, and even argued against doing so. Once again you belittle and stereotype others. When I do so it's obvious to anyone except you that it's a joke and not meant to be taken seriously.
How long do expect an explanation to take? Simply providing a proper explanation of our current judicial system would require an undue amount if time. I could ask an analogous question, how the judicial system would be altered under Marxism. -

You 100% missed the point, taking the (unintentional) communism bait instead. I'd suggest trying to read my post again.
