The old adage goes if it's not your idea you must cite your source

but as I'm writing this paper for an organizational management I reference a concept from a psychology book i read a long time

Obviously the Halo Affect as it applies to leaders ina workplace settings is my own idea because I'm applying something I learned (a psychology term from a book) into a different situation.

Since I know this term and I am using it out of my own memory is it now considered my own? Do I cite it still?

At what point does something we learn no longer become something we have to cite with a source in academic papers?

For instance I know you a BITCH! but the sources are TOO MULTIPLE to CITE all the reasons.

When people say "Why didn't you cite that?" I will reply "It is common knowledge among the educated classes."

Just lie and plagiarize like a mofo. Or try to change the structure of the sentence and/or use different words until the stolen sentence appears to be your own.

huh? Bro Im a very effective writer, I don't need to steal or plagiarize anything. I've written 2 1/2 papers just today alone, lol. I'm now doing my final and just wondering what the proper way to go about things are is.

I'm not worried about citing sources I'm just wondering when I really need to if I already know the material from an external source that I may no longer really remember.

According to who? ..and what gives them the authority to apply that to everyone and every situation?
