Tis the off season and I'm searching for a good deal.
The push mower I bought 2 springs ago sucks ass and I hate it.
Now I'm checking out marketplace for reasonable replacements and here are a few I'm considering,
1947 Popular Mechanics Kit tractor/mower. 60 in cut. Three separate independent decks contour to the ground. Detachable sulky. Brand new 12.5hp Briggs and Stratton opposed piston twin. New belts. New Battery. Runs and mows beautifully. Absolutely unique. People actually pull over and watch you mow. 😆. This thing is an antique tractor enthusiasts dream. The price is pretty firm but will negotiate some in person. The engine was $749, purchased on 6/25/2024. Three speed Ford transmission with reverse.
Fully restored. 6 hp Tecumseh. 3 speed + reverse. New ignition switch. Electric start. New carb. Lost records on work done. May have rebuilt engine, at very least New piston rings. New tires. Seat reupholstered. All New decals. Bearings instead of bushings in front wheels. Runs great. (I would need to find a mower deck for it)
This listing is for 1971 Economy Power King Tractor with Kohler k321s Spec # 6009B Engine. Has hydraulic setup that works flawlessly along with Snowplow. Everything works and runs great...
Many recently replaced parts...
-Carburetor rebuild
-Fuel Pump rebuild
-New front wheels and tires(comes with original wheels and tires)
-Air enhancement
-Battery Cables
Comes with dealer manual and exploded view diagram so every part is easy to find
(I'd have my black neighbors running scared)
This is a 30 inch troy bilt lawn mower. Perfect if you have a small gate that a normal lawn mower won’t fit through. This thing runs great. (Honestly this is enough for my little yard)
Wheel horse 312-8 it's been our mower for 10 years zero smoke runs and mows good recently serviced with amsoil from front to back nothing but the best of care has Bowens weights on the rear tires are good starts great even when in sub zero temps. Plenty of pulling power heavy duty tractor . They don't build them like this anymore. Has one spot that was welded by original owner on the deck not because it was thin but got cracked on something but it's been this way since we've owned it.
