And Idk how much longer I am going to be here, the guy just told me that to tighten up the minor infractions of the rules of the house I need to make an effort to be out of my room and interacting with people, socializing, and seeing what's going on.
Mind you I already have 20 other task specific jobs to do. But now they want me to sit in the living room/kitchen in the evening when everyone's here. Normally at this time I do school work and as I'm sure I've told all of you I don't watch television.
So now instead of doing schoolwork they're asking me to spend hours sitting in a living room hanging out with people. That's unfortunately where I have to draw the line on this job, I said OK but I'm not going to do that and if I can't hold this position because of it that's more than OK.
I don't mind everything they have me doing all day, I don't mind being here from 4 to 11 present in the house as people come home from work but when I can't pursue my education for 6+ hours a day, I'm not really interested. I don't want to sit in a room talking to people I have very little in common with, yes we all share the disease of adDICKtion, but beyond that?
I don't want to watch TV, I can't do school work with 16 people walking around me talking to one another, and I'm not gonna sit at the kitchen table forcing myself into direct observation of people, lol no thanks I can get a payroll accounting clerk position and work 1 1/2 hours and amek the same amoutn of money I do here in a day.
I like it here don't get me wrong and things are well but making me sit in a room and hang out with people for hours is not happening, that was never explained to me and I will not do it.

I'd do twice as much work as I am now without a problem but sitting infront of a TV and listening to people tell lies about themselves is something I can't do.

Brad to me it seems like you have control issues. You’re more than willing and capable of facing adversity when it’s self inflicted, but god forbid your boss tell you to do your homework in the living room for a few hours a day.
Isn’t time management part of being, you know, a manager?
To me it just seems like you’re using this as an excuse to fall back into bad habits. And if that’s what you wanna do I won’t fault you for it, god knows you’re more fun when you’re fucked up, but at a certain point you have to either break the cycle or just accept it.
