This Class Action has been going on forever it sames, maybe I'll finally get some coin back...
Dear xxxxxx,
I am pleased to report that counsel for Valve has expressed interest in having settlement discussions with Mason LLP to resolve your claim (along with the claims of other similarly situated claimants that we also represent).
We will be meeting with Valve’s attorneys this month to discuss next steps. We expect that Valve will want to review your account to verify that you are a Steam subscriber and determine the amount you spent on Steam games.
The negotiations with Valve will continue through the end of the year. On January 16, 2025, counsel for the parties are scheduled to meet for a full day of mediation before Robert Meyers of JAMS ADR. Is it the gambling one? Honestly valve probably deserves every cent they bilked from the stupid loot crate thing lol, CS is a great example of a game that manages to make fat dollars off stupidity and micro transactions while having zero adverse effect on people who just want to play a game. The only morally acceptable micro transaction model.
