Over the past couple weeks I have slowly slowly been demoing my bathroom.
Mainly because the only means I have to dispose of the debris is an extra 96 gallon trash can I got from the garbage company.
Today I finally got the shower base out of there and it feels really good.
There is some rotted out water damaged wood I'm going to have to figure out how to replace but that's okay.
My goal is to have everything out of the bathroom in 2 more weeks.
It sucks only having one trash can to use to put stuff in but on the other hand it keeps me from doing too much work.

You could look into a bagster. It’s like a dumpster but it’s a big bag it’s like $40 for the bag and $100 or so for the pickup. Maybe $200 these days but it’s a sizable load. There’s always apartment dumpsters too.

I did some work for a bathroom remodeling company for a few months. I don’t envy your situation.

From what the video show, this thread should have been named Fona's DIY Bathroom Demolition.

The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!

I didnt think the cold water was gonna bust a U and come out the cut hot water pipe hanging off the faucet.

It’s pressurized water, it’ll come out of anywhere that’s open. “Close is off” isn’t the most technical advice but you did ask what to do lol.

Love you fona but you remind me of the guys house who lived by my grandpa who just always had his house in like a state of mid repair, literally it's still like this and he still lives there and I'm 33

I went in a few times as a kid and it's immaculate inside but the outside is shit and looks like it's in the middle of repairs

I think he does it for tax purposes
