2024-08-29 at 9:46 AM UTCYeah, I'm sure your friend would know them. I found this on their wiki page where one of them lists the band's influences.
"However, bassist and backing vocalist Jim Riley stated in a 2013 interview that "to [him] the band is a metalcore band" and that they're "similar to Unearth or As I Lay Dying or something like that, with a little bit less guitar solos and a little bit less singing". He said that they are influenced by "an older generation of bands" such as Throwdown, Bury Your Dead (especially Beauty and the Breakdown), Misery Signals, Killswitch Engage, Unearth (especially The Oncoming Storm) and Bleeding Through, some of which he considers "seminal to what metalcore is", as well as modern music that isn't necessarily heavy (such as pop punk), and that he himself listens "to a lot of emo""

Didn't think I'd come across another metalcore fan here, which album do you like the most? I mostly listen(ed) to The End of Heartache & As Daylight Dies. None of my homies are into this genre, sadly. -

Also, I think if you'll mention the band I went to see then your friend would know.
Yeh. Patricks youngers brother was one of the people i hung out with every day in middle and high school. If i hadnt gotten into heroin i probably wouldve roadied for them. i think i still have some of their stickers from back when they were A Dying Dream. -

Just checked, apparently they were known as that in 2004-2006. You could probably make some profit off of those maybe. What kinda music do you listen to nowadays? I'm writing this as I listen to k-pop. -
