Anyone got experience with these? I just ordered 5 meals for next week for €50 with Hello Fresh. It's normally €100, but €50 off in the first week, €15 off in the second, etc.

Paying a premium for the delivery of hyper-specific quantities of groceries that will just barely cover ~70% of your dinners in a given week seems really silly to me, so I've never tried it. I've been tempted to try them out, but every time I think about it... like... if I'm going to pay a premium to have meals delivered, we might as well go the extra mile and have a restaurant cook it too. Y'know? Hire a private taxi for your burrito.

That said, I remember seeing someone talking about how they'd order catering from Chipotle for their weekly meal prep, and the math worked out really nicely. Seemed like a way smarter move than having some company ship you one meal's worth of cabbage or whatever, or hiring a taxi to drive dinner to you. May be worth considering once your trial period ends. 🤔

Yeah I've used hello fresh before. It's useful if you have a large discretionary income and want to save time grocery shopping. IDK what HTS is talking about the portion sizes are good unless you're a yank.

If I was your fatass I would've gotten 14 small portioned dinners to cover your 7 dinners a week, plus you have that parasite with you who will also want to eat so you should've just ordered 21 for 485$, saving you 20 minutes each day and costing you 6-7 times the price you'd normally pay.

Or... you could trade GG in for me and have hot, fresh, healthy meals cooked ina clean kitchen when u get off work. Just saying, you could do a lot better.

    There is.

How is it possible that adults can't fucking cook or are too fucking lazy to prepare their own food is a better question

Lala and I did hello fresh for a good long while. It’s obviously not the singularly most cost effective way to eat but it’s cheaper than eating out, and I mean if it saves an hour of shopping per week then it’s significantly cheaper than it seems depending on what your time is worth.

Like I said, I've never used them! So of course I dunno nuffing about the portion sizes. I just meant they deliver five dinners worth of ingredients for a seven day week. Your ass still has to drag itself to the grocery store.

The ingredients to prepare my own meals, not ready prepared meals. There's a difference in paying a scrub to gather the components vs paying a scrum to cook ALL your meals because you're lazy/incompetent.

Curbside pickup is a thing, and it's free at most places.

Sure, but you still gotta pick out the stuff online and go drive to the store. Honestly picking it out is almost as time consuming as just walking the aisles
