    this might actually be the reason for it.

    someone hacked the Knesset a while ago (April or so), and they've been steadily distributing classified israeli information on a bunch of different platforms including Telegram.

    for the most part they've been able to censor the information on other major platforms but the releases haven't stopped on tg.

    the operation's been fairly quiet until a few days ago when the hackers (or someone who got information from them) text messaged huge numbers of israelis (specifically politicians and their donors) telling them "A response will come and a decision will be made, maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow."... the day that Hez swarmed a bunch of military bases with KATYUSHAs and suicide drones.

    leaks of military technology, hardware positions etc. have been broadcast from time to time.
