Best way to drink salt water?

   The cruise ship is charging $15 for a 12 pack of water bottles.
   They also don't allow you to bring water except for 1 12 pack but only if you can find it in a carton or a can. No carry on bottles....
   The president of the boat company said the boat water is safe to drink but all the reviews say it's poorly enhancemented salt water and drinking it will leave you swollen and unable to fit in your shoes.

   salt water can be consumed really easily, you just take 2 bowls, inset the smaller bowl empty in the center, fill the larger bowl with salt water, place a piece of plastic or other vinyl type material over the top creating an airtight seal, place a small rock or pebble in the center of the plastic and place in the sun.
   
   The wate rwill rise as humidity vapor int eh sunlight, gather on the plastic, and then roll to the depression where it will be collected in an unsalted form in the smaller bowl.
   
   How do you not know this?

    Put it in a bottle with siran wrap over it, leave it in the sun and lick what collects at the top. I saw it on some lost at sea survival thing. Idk how long the cruise is but you may be able to survive.

    I'd have assumed they just fill up when in port. Desalination is a pain in the ass. Try the water at the dock, and compare it to the water on board. Some places just have naturally salty tasting tap water.
