Yeah, Indonesians too. But when's the last time you heard a Pakistani who was into metalcore? I don't listen to it these days anymore though but for the show tonight I thought I should go through the band's discography, and that's what I did today.

I'm just going there to see the band, I'm not interested in meeting anyone if I can be honest. The band I'm seeing is breaking up after 22 years so that's why I wanted to see them live. I'm going by myself because lonely loser incel. :')

And thanks, I dunno how much fun there will be had while being sleep-deprived but appreciate it anyway. For me, it's also been like 7 years since I last went to a show. I don't think I ever went by myself.
If you want a recommendation, try "Nothing" but like you said, you aren't into metalcore so you wouldn't like it. But these guys have been very influential and are underrated at the same time.
People often describe them as "your favorite metalcore band's favorite metalcore band."

I have heard of Mastodon but never listened to them. These days I just listen to j-pop and k-pop so idk, but you can recommend me a song and I'll check it out if you want.
Yeah, I only got into them in 2019 but they've been around since 2002. They released albums in 2004, 2006, 2008, 2013 and 2020.

After oblivion they sucked imho, got all soft when brann the drummer started singing. But most people love it.
