It can also be federal in the USA when state lines are crossed but I’ve never heard of someone in the USA being charged with something legal in the state they did it I mean all of this is always reserved for actual crimes like in all states and feds it happens in not just home state.

They do they in USA because federal is more time and higher chance of persecution and also because they can charge in both feds and state but again this is for crimes in all places they occur not just one.

What is the age of consent across state lines?
State Lines and The Age of Consent
    Interstate Travel

The federal age of consent is 18. That means, for example, if two people over 16 in North Carolina and South Carolina moved across state lines to have relations, they would still be subject to the federal age of consent, even though they meet the age of consent in both states.

Show me a single example of the USA feds charging someone for age of consent offenders where it was legal within that state it occurred in. Doesn’t happen bro they can sure but they never do.

Do your own research you lazy twat. As usual you've been given the information and rather than accepting it as the fact it is you press for more simply because you don't like the answer...stop acting like a 12yr old.

I already did and haven’t found one case. So again ur research is mandibles as wells s your ambiguous possibilities. Sure someone can be prosecuted for something but if it never happened once before the likelyhood is very low. Why would I research something you are trying to prove? For yourself since you have t disproved a single thing I said.

Federal law just proved you wrong, moron...it's a crime to cross state lines to have sex with someone under the FEDERAL age of consent regardless of the states age of consent.

God damn you're dumber than a rock.

Ur a moron man again u don’t know when exactly they can take over state law or would in theory or practice or if a state has to allow them to or when in practice it does. I don’t give a fuck about some in theory or on the books laws that never get prosecuted.

Federal law trumps state law...this is pretty common knowledge for anyone with an IQ over room temperature

"The Supremacy Clause refers to the foundational principle that, in general, federal law takes precedence over any conflicting state law."

    Jesus Christ you're dumb.

Again usually only Feds take over cases or people cross state lines. But it begs the question if someone crossed state lines not to do something but at a whim if they did it like not to fuck a chick but you meet a chick in that state that itself could be also a big difference. I don’t know I’m not a lawyer but neither do you son. Stay in school lol.

But they still work together and Feds still generally only take cases unless someone is on some most wanted or some fugitive list when state asks them to.

No fed would prosecute for age of consent breach because it would be a waste of fed resources if it’s not a crime in that state.
