My crazy mom back in 2016 over dinner said that Global Warming is "Chinese Hoax" then she stuffed a piece of cheesecake in her mouth while making unblinking eye contact w/ me. Who knows if she actually believed that or if she was just trying to push my 26 yr old emotionally unstable ass to make a scene. That same dinner, she went on to say that black people can't swim because they have a different bone density than all other races. I called her a moron and stormed out of the restaurant.

Never underestimate how stupid people are. My mother, my old neighbor that said Osama Bin Laden was the president of Afghanistan...these people exist, and they can vote.
That was in 2016....the way the weather has been these past couple of years IDK how anyone can say something isn't wrong. I 100% agree that the main debate now is if humans have a significant effect on it or if we have zero to little effect. I'd say we do, the massiveness of industrialization is truly mind-blowing when you think about it. Massive food production along w/ fast fashion churning out low quality clothing that starts w/ your trashy daughter and ends up in a literal trash heap at the local dump.
However, I'm not about to run off like some hippie and live off the land...I think it's nnice that I can get laundry soap, food, and alcohol all in one place. I just try not to think too hard about where my 88¢ can of Great Value Stewed Tomatoes really come from?
